A number of opposition parties will on Wednesday, January 11, 2017, converge at the Bomas of Kenya to forge a way forward on how to beat President Uhuru Kenyatta in the August 2017 election.
Reports have it that more than 4,000 people including elected leader and aspirants will be in attendance, from whence a “huge opposition movement will be birthed” in the lead up to the election.
Political parties are expected to join forces to beat the Jubilee Party. They include:
Party leader Raila Odinga has been in talks to merge with other like minded colleagues to remove President Uhuru from office

2. Amani National Congress
Party leader Musalia Mudavadi has been spearheading talks with Raila to form the National Super Alliance to go up against Jubilee.
3. Kenya African National Union
KANU is expected to make an appearance at the meeting despite party leader Gideon Moi having cold feet at joining up with NASA, claiming he had an earlier agreement with President Uhuru in 2013.
His Secretary General, Nick Salat, had said KANU might join up with NASA.
4. Chama Cha Mashinani
