Police have launched a manhunt for a KK Security employee who is said to have disappeared with KSh 25 million he was transporting from Mombasa to Nairobi.
The employee disappeared upon touching down at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) after he lied to his colleagues who were waiting for him in Nairobi.
The man identified as Hudson Nyasaka was flying the money from Nyali in Mombasa and was destined for Trust Bank when the incident happened.
According to Airport police boss Rono Bunei, his colleagues reported the matter two hours after the incident happened.
The cash was in foreign currencies of USD 50,000, 98,500 Euros and 90,000 Swiss Franc.
