Just days after President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy president William Ruto blocked the NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga, Uhuru has come out to anger Kenyans even more by explaining why he did so.
Led by the leaders of majority in parliament, Hon. Duale, the leaders have come out to defend the president’s action.
According to the president they did not guarantee to give the NASA presidential candidate a chance to speak even after being invited.
Duale even went ahead and insulted Raila saying that he would only be given a chance to speak at events like a wedding or funeral and not at an important function like on Madarak day.
“Madaraka day is not a funeral, wedding or rally”, and “if Raila is not given a chance to speak does not mean that the government lacks inclusiveness or Cohesion”.
